Peter Armstrong is a Canadian radio and television journalist, working with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He was previously the host of ''World Report'' on CBC Radio One, and has been a foreign correspondent for CBC Television and CBC Newsworld. He is currently the economics reporter for CBC News. Originally from Oakville, Ontario, he graduated from Acadia University〔http://www2.acadiau.ca/acadia-news-reader/items/ninth-annual-acadia-alumni-gala-dinner-to-honour-graduates.html〕 and Université Laval before he began working for CBC Radio in Quebec City. He later moved to Saint John, Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver before moving to the Middle East in 2006. He was the CBC TV bureau chief in Jerusalem until the end of 2009.
